IAF is delighted to welcome new Member, The Authors’ Guild of India, based in New Delhi.
The Guild represents almost 500 writers in Indian territory, working in the interests of authors before the Government and other agencies. It seeks to resolve grievances between authors and publishers on issues of royalties and publication, as well as to create awareness of authors’ rights and secondary uses of their work.
The Guild is also doing invaluable work to encourage and ensure dialogue among writers from different languages, regions and cultures across India.
We would like to extend a hearty welcome to our new friends, and look forward to working with them in the future.
