Creating a Living in Latin America: Tertulias – ”Panamá Creadora”

The International Authors Forum (IAF) in partnership with the Foundation for Arts Development (FUGA) and the Society of Publishers and Authors in Panama (SEA) is delighted to invite you to the second in our series of Tertulias. ”Tertulia” is the name for a type of meeting which took place historically in Latin America, in which artists gathered to share their work, discuss political matters, create solidarity and take action.

Adam Feinstein will be hosting this event. During the ”Tertulia” you will enjoy Panamanian music from Jorge Bennett, stories from Panamanian new writers Alelí Salcedo, Lina Calvit, Leocadio Padilla, Vilma Calderón and Alberto Cabredo introduced by Carlos Wynter Melo, and a discussion about copyright for new authors with copyright specialists Norma Buendía from Panama and David Álvarez from Colombia, moderated by Fulvia Vergara.

The event will be held online via Zoom on 10th July at 18:00 – 19:30 BST (12:00-13:30 EST).
